For painting 15mm figures from Rebel Minis, GZG, Old Crow, Critical Mass Games, etc. to near showcase quality:

1) Who do you recommend?
2) Why?
3) What does that painter usually charge?
4) How long does that painter typically take to paint and deliver?
5) Are there photos of what you had done posted anywhere for viewing?

Thanks.

Reinforcements by post do good work and at least Niel will know what you are talking about.

If you have the money, Marty Blow will give you exactly what you want. You will pay for what you get/want. So if you want 10+++++ you are going to pay 10++++++ prices.

That is, assuming you can get him to paint for you in the first place.

Marty won't paint for anyone and is often too busy to take on new work.

best of luck.

I highly recommend Igor's painting service!

Check out his website:

Igor was recently profiled on TMP for the new Ancient German Warband plastics.

Marty won't paint for anyone

Well then the chances of getting him to paint sound a bit grim, don't they? grin

Let me ask a friend of mine: he's gone so far as to put the 101st Airborne's "puking buzzard" on one of his Flames of War forces, and is putting the 82nd's "AA" on another, in addition to shoulder boards, collars, and sleeve ranks on his german forces.

I'm not sure how much time he has, though.

Actually, money talks with Marty. If you put your cash on the barrel head, he just might work for you.

Plus it would depend on if the project interests him or not. He's probably more inclined to do something challenging than something routine, but that's must my guess.

If you never ask. . . you will never know.

I have started adding links to my website. If you look under the Paining services section you will not go wrong. I have used 2 of the 4 and have been very satisfied with both. Duck 21 and Fernando Enterprises.

I know a guy in CA who is great for 15mm. Did a ton of FoW stuff for me. He is also big into sci-fi. Contact me for his e-mail address as I don't think he'd want me to publish it in public.
