excellent. I played this solo about a year ago 28 28MM, having to use some Portugese in my Spanish army as i came up short about 6 battalions. Even sols, this battle was a wonderful game. I enjoyed the writeup.

Thanks for the photo walk-through of Reiver, Peeler. It was the only show I could ever manage to get to, and not even every year, but now I'm based abroad your pics made me feel a teeny bit homesick for rainy Saturdays and real beer and scotch pies and self-consciously unpacking the newly-purchased little metal men on the train back across country and…does that chap with the notebook and biro look a bit like Harry Pearson?

:-) Thanks both, glad you enjoyed.
In 28's would look impressive I reckon.
Beer and pies eh….my staple diet.

Lovely looking game and a good write up.

I used to attend this show regularly when I lived in Cumbria. Lovely friendly show it was too

Thanks Rob, it still is a friendly one to go to, and it's getting bigger year on year.
