In The website says the book

"Volley & Bayonet: Road To Glory" includes rules for the Black Powder Era from 1700 to 1890. In addition, it includes complete army lists for the Napoleonic Wars and eight major historic battles as game scenarios. They are: Trebbia (1799); Marengo (1800); Austerlitz (1805); Auerstaedt; (1806); Eylau (1807); Talavera (1809); Dennewitz (1813); Quatre Bras (1815). Additional army lists and scenario books are planned.

Only army list for napoleonic?

and for the seven year wars?

thank you.

Road to Glory is specific to the Napoleonic Era. 1792-1815. They, presumably, will have other rules sets for other eras. If I were you, I'd get the old version for $20. USD

You can download the Seven Years War lists for VnB:RtG from the Yahoo group.

V+B Road to Glory contains all the rules for all periods but only has scenarios and Army Lists for the Napoleonic era. There is a series of supplements planned for the other periods with a pair of SYW books (eastern and western theatres) due out this fall. These supplements will include scenarios and army lists but if you don't want to wait the army lists for the SYW period are available on the web site as noted above.

You could buy the older rules, I suppose, but if you did, you'd be missing out on the scenario generator and some important rules changes.

As Rich has pointed out Volley & Bayonet Road to Glory has rules for the period 1700 to 1890. The rules are not limited to the Napoleonic period.

However, only army lists for the Napoleoninc period are included in the rules package. Official V&B army lists for the Sever Years War can be downloaded here:

Additional V&B material can be found on the main Volley and Bayonet website, which can be found here:
