After a bit of a false start at the beginning of the year , and .. then a move to a new forum .. and the disastrous loss of all out material from our previous forum we are pleased to announce that the umpires and players of The Great Pangaea Campaignwe have pulled themselves together and we are about to embark on play. We are still looking for a few players, if anybody is at all interested?
The Electors Spiritual would be helpful and a number of smaller Imperial and Italic States could do with an active duke or count. and an Ottoman would be a right boon a link to the map is here link and the Campaign Newspaper, under the frightening Editorship Bertrand DeVolestrangler can be found here link while the overall area is here. link We use the Might & Reason rules, a lot of bombastic cyber role play and..well the Empire is one's oyster. |

I'll enjoy watching the unfolding of events as I enjoyed following the preparation of the campaign on 'the previous forum' and in The Fortress -actually I was eagerly waiting for the hounds of war to be unleashed! Btw the map is beautiful. Now, being a lazy leech -and for several more serious reasons- neither me nor the Monte-Cristan Diplomatic Corps and the Presipal Service (though they could be used) apply for a remotely-controlled role in the campaign. Besides, my record in PBM (then) campaign is so abysmal that no statute of limitations covers it more than 25 years later! Twice the Eastern roman Empire -no less- fell to ashes and dust under my unwise rule; and I was no more successful in minor matters, My Amazon Guard costed a lot of campaign money but Phil Barker never allowed it to take the field, and my R&D team working (long before David Drake and Eric Flint wrote the 'Belisarius' series) on this mysterious black powder from the East just blew up a whole wing of the Palace in Constantinople
Cheers, Jean-louis PS: will the RPG 'Pulp' campaign TMP link TMP link be run in parallel? |
