In the Russo Turkish War the Turkish line had red trim and sash, would the riflemen have had a green sash to go with their green trimmed uniforms?

I am basing my response on one of my resource books. A Turkish book in English titledOsmanli: Ottoman Military Organization and Uniforms, 1876-1908.

Uniform color varied by Army. Those in the Mid-East Bagdad, Tripoli, Damascus and and San'a Yemen wore white. other armies wore a dark blue but shade and even color varied by branch. The only units shown with a sash are Zouave which was red. One Zouave in a white unifrom lacks a sash and may be a post-1880 unifrom.

In the greek plate book on the later balkan wars shows Zouaves, naval seamen and naval infantry wearing red sashes. (The naval infantry campaign uniform is quite colorful. The only formations with colored sashes other than red are irregular formations where the sash color varied depending on recruitment region.

Knotel (Uniforms of the World) mentions no sashes. the unifrom for infantry and rifles were the same except red lace trim for Infnatry and Green lace trim for the Rifles. For the R-T War a Zouve style waistcoast with the correct lace color was worn. Again no mention of a sash.

The Osprey, which has errors, says red sashes for all, green trim for the rifles, red trim for the infantry except the 1st Rgt of each Corps which had yellow trim.
