GERT, Denmark

Forget about the figures, We will not have any of your products.
We want the money back NOW.
You have the Paypal account Gert send You.
He have made a request via Paypal.
All we recive from You is bad escuses and delaying ansvers.
We are very tired, You are treating us very badly, We have done nothing to offend You.
It has been a very unplesant experience to try to buy something from You.
You are destroying Yours good spirit, every day We are getting sick about the situation You have created.
We have been talking to a friend from England, Tony, It is beginning to smell like fraud.
Gert is a very nice Man, He dont write as harsh letters as i do.
If my English was better I would be able to write a really mean letter.
We hope that You understand that We will not wait any more.
It only takes 5 minutes to transfer money from Your account to Gert account,
Why have You not done it long ago ?
Signed.
A very Angry and disapointed customer.

Hi Jules

Itīs been almost 14 days since you sent my a mail, that said this matter would be solved within the next 12 hours.
I havenīt received any answer since.
All I want you to do, is send me the money for order number 1782 from March 23, which I have paid you.
I have sent you a request through PAYPAL, which you have totally ignored.
This case has evolved into something nasty, which I would like you to solve right now.

Jules,

We spoke a couple of weeks ago about my order #1892 1892 for a black mini case with three Trays 18s and 1 tray 5. The order was placed in may and my cheque for £39.95 GBP was cashed in Jun 09. You said that you would have the cases in a couple of weeks for dispatch. Imagine my concern to note that you have sold the business and that the new owners are not accepting responsibility for previous orders.

I am sympatheitc to your problems but I would be grateful if you indicate what your intentions are to fulfll my order or provide a refund.

Hello Jules, I just found this forum as I was preparing to ramp up my attempts to either get my products or a refund. I ordered back in April (the 24th) and paid immediately by paypal. My invoice number was 1854 for some paints and a skirmish case to a total value of Ģ36.64. Now that things seem to be moving again, I wonder whether you could update me about whether I'll get the order in time for Christmas.
All the best.
If you need further details of the order please let me know.

Lord of the Geeks28 Nov 2009 4:11 a.m. PST

Hi to those still interested in the saga!

I want to heap praise on Erik the new owner of Figures in Comfort, after 6 months and nearly 20 emails regarding my order Erik sorted it out within 24hrs… THANK YOU.

I never did receive my order despite Jules promises and explanations.

Erik dealt with it quickly and simply, with great communication and customer skills! I wish him the very best and would not hesitate to order from him in the future.

All the best in Australia Jules, there is a joke going around which involves an Australian Immigration officer asking a new UK immigrant if they have a criminal record, the chap replies he didn't realize it was still a pre-requisite!

Good luck to all.

Cheers

Kiwi Hac, you took the words out of my mouth.

I echo the sentiments of your last post.
After the Epic saga, Erik has come through, with absolutely no fuss whatsoever.

Erik, many thanks for sorting out the order so promptly.
Thumbs up from me for FIC.
You'll be getting my business in the future.

Tomorrow I will notify Paypal and make sure I at least get my money back. And officially report this scam.

By now they also closed my FIG account, Bleeped texts…

It's been over a year now and all I got were two lousy mails that not even donkey would believe to be truthful.

I didn't even get a tracking code, but then again, thats to be expected from scammers…

Erik seems to solve things on this board, though that could be fake accounts… I don't trust it one bit. He did NOT fix my order, that is for sure..

I have replied to your email directed to info@figuresincomfort.net.
In this email I have stated that I was not aware of this order outstanding, so therefore could not rectify the situation.
As for despatches on the 24th and 27th November, these were back orders that were the responsibility of Jules Evans and not the new owners.
I appreciate that the situation you find yourself in is totally unacceptable and will work towards rectifying this asap.
On a personal point, I have stock to fill orders and would not trade if I did not have such. I do not appreciate being called a scammer for an action that was beyond my control. I am sure that people who have dealt with Figures In Comfort since December 1st 2009 (the date we re-opened the website for trading) are happy with the level of service they have received to date.

Erik Priessman

quackstheking18 Feb 2010 6:56 a.m. PST

I have to say I have nothing but praise for the way that Erik Priessman has handled the takeover of Figures in Comfort especially when he was under no obligation to fulfill outstanding orders placed with the previous owner. I contacted Erik over my order which had been outstanding for over 7 months. Unfortunately as the Litko bases were not in stock, Erik promptly refunded my Paypal account – no questions asked. This is exceptional service and the failings of the previous owner should in no way reflect on Erik.

way to go Erik – I will buy from FIC again!!

Don

Funchameleon18 Feb 2010 3:19 p.m. PST

Erik,

I can't say otherwise than you did solve this promptly this time! Thank you very much for that! The credit has already been accounted into my paypal account, very prompt action I must say!

Please understand my frustration as this has been going on for over a year now, seems you do pick up on it.

Just to clarify, I was really not amused by this and had to do something to get my money back.
My sincere apologies for going this far and calling you a scammer here but then again, one year is quite a long time and a lot of frustration builds up in that time.

If I keep reading good things I might consider stil buying your cases, as it is a good product, no doubt about that.

Thanks again for the prompt solution and answer Erik!

Regards,

Funchy
