Hi All

I've been looking through the FiC threads since I posted this:

TMP link

… so … how many people here have placed orders with FiC, paid for them, but not had them fulfilled?

If you have had a refund please don't post … I'm only interested in collecting the names of folk who have a paid-for order outstanding.

Thanks.

Paul

"Have you had Figures in Comfort problems?"

No, I think my figures are very comfortable thank you in their made-to-measure cardboard boxes, although now you mention it, I don't think I've ever actually asked them … grin

Grumpy Monkey15 Sep 2009 12:23 p.m. PST

Only ordered from them once and the order came promptly

Hi guys rather than starting another witch hunt (started again by a NEW member)I though I would again let you know whats happening, I am not working under Dr orders for another 13 days, once thats done we have the stock to send out any back orders that are outstanding.

The email sales@figuresincomfort.net IS working but I have not sat behind the office PC much over the past few weeks so there are loads of emails to answer and it will take a couple of days to go through. I have a message on our phone also telling people we are off, also calling will not get answered as I am going to Hollybush house for a short 10 day stay, We have told many customes to hold off ordering until I am fit and we have the stock delivered to the store.

All out standing issues are to be completed before the 5th Aug 2009.

Jules

NORTIVS MAXIMVS15 Sep 2009 12:49 p.m. PST

Hi Julian

This isn't a 'witch hunt' it's an attempt to get some kind of response – it simply isn't fair to ignore telephone calls and emails for such a very long time, no matter what.

For my part I left a message on your answerphone earlier today. I just want you to refund me £39.45 GBP for the order I paid for in March but cancelled in July. I have emailed and telephoned, but to no avail. It's dead easy to write a cheque .. that's all I have asked of you.

Meantime I wish you well with rest and recuperation – really I do. It's not personal, just a matter of the money which would have been ever so easy for you to resolve by now.

I feel I have been really very patient.

BTW: I guess you don't really mean 5 August …

Perhaps you could respond to the message I left on your answerphone at 15:48 today (which I followed up with an email)?

Best wishes

Paul

I would like to have the 216 GBP you promised me as a refund on 28 Aug. You can credit it to flooglestreet AT yahoo DOT com

flooglestreet15 Sep 2009 8:43 p.m. PST

cherrypicker16 Sep 2009 1:46 a.m. PST

Jules

flooglestreet16 Sep 2009 6:30 a.m. PST

Like hell it was done in any number of parts at any time. You owe me.

NORTIVS MAXIMVS18 Sep 2009 2:46 a.m. PST

Hi All

Just to let you know that Julian sorted out my refund.

I am truly sorry I had to join here to raise the profile of this matter.

Julian: the trick is to stay in touch with your customers and manage their expectations. That way you won't try their sympathy for your situation.

For my part may I offer you my sincere thanks for your service and very best wishes for an improvement in your situation.

Take care.

Paul

flooglestreet18 Sep 2009 7:06 a.m. PST

I got my refund too. I know ptsd is a real bitch to deal with, sometimes you just want to hide.

ciaphas18 Sep 2009 2:40 p.m. PST

So it appears I am the only one you haven't bothered paying?

as this is the only place you seem to look at: here goes you owe me alot of money, when will I see it?

Hi Jules

Hoping you catch this as I have tried to contact you through your website and received no reply…

In regard to order #1926 £54.00 GBP 06/05/2009, your last message on TMP stated it was on the shelf ready for posting to New Zealand (early 08/09).

I realise you have had a series of trials and tribulations, however as an ex member of HRH's forces (as am I) you realise it's the not knowing that does you in!

If the order is not going to arrive just let me know and refund the £54.00 GBP to my PayPal account (you have the details), if however the order is sitting ready to go as you stated earlier please action it as you're the only supplier of Companion Miniatures I am aware of!

Watching the calendar tick away as your departure for this side of the world approaches is "doing my head in"!

I realise the world does not revolve around me (much as I might like it to) however there is an implication of trust in accepting money for goods and/or services and five months seems a more than reasonable amount of time to wait for a contract to be fulfilled.

As an aside to some of the other posters on this forum, while name calling is unpleasant, as my stage one law lecturer was want to say "the law is there to protect the innocent " and cases are viewed as a whole. Waving the liable law stick about is generally frowned on this side of the world…

I'm sure Jules is a nice bloke, unfortunate things get unloaded on nice people regularly, perhaps as industry members you might like to assist in this situation (or form a society), as trust is one of the cornerstones of e-commerce.

This sort of thing leads to a loss of faith in the smaller members of the industry (god forbid I should say anything nice about Foundry at this point!) and their ability to fulfil orders…

Jules I wish you the speediest recovery from what ails you and hope you and your partner enjoy Australia. Their rugby team are pants despite the coaching!(Insert liable threat here…)

All the best and on a personal level stay strong.

Cheers

Jules, is the only way to get a response from you, to write here on TMP?
I would really like to know since I have tried both e-mail and the form on your website without any kind of luck.
Honestly, what am I to do?

New status: Despatched

Please reply to this email if you have any questions.

You wrote in one of the other threads that cases were about 3 weeks away. I recieved the foam, no problem there. I have not seen a case or heard from you, despite multiple e-mails directly or via the form on your website.

Would you please try and sort this out, I'm not interested in a refund since I already have the foam.

Hi Jules

It has now been a full week since you you wrote to me on TMP. On the 14 of October you stated that you would write to me the following day (the 15th) now that you had my order number (#1912, in case you forgot). I have not heard a thing from you and I am honestly getting really tired of being nice in the attempt to just get, what I ordered and payed for 5 months ago. I am all out of patience in this matter.
You need to hold your promises and send me an e-mail and a proof of postage for the order.

No more excuses, no more delays! just FIX MY ORDER!

Regards

Ian Spence

P.S this message also goes in your email and through the form on your website, so there is no excuse for it not to reach you.

Funchameleon21 Oct 2009 10:27 a.m. PST

No refund no nothing, not even a reply, placed my order in may and haven't heard a thing, no thing,…
I have contacted them about 10 times but they just won't reply,..

Since Jules seems to be reading this I figured to try my luck on this forum as getting any reply from them directly is impossible.

This is the last I have heard from them…

This is just no way to treat people who pay good money,..

I have sent another message just today via their website,.. still hoping to be lucky and get a reply of some sorts,..

I can also understand that health issues prohibit him from working full-time or less, but running a business is not a smart idea then, or maybe have a replacement take care of your business…
anyway this is just no way to go,..

Please just fix this jules,…

You are more than welcome to contact me at m DOT klefken AT gmail DOT com.

Kind regards,

Another PAYING and unstatisfied customer……

P.S. August has also passed by now,… My issues aren't solved yet,… i've read this forum, yes :)

P.P.S. This is not a witch hunt, if you run any business this way you will get mad customers,..

P.P.S.S. I have sent this also to you via the form on your website,..

cherrypicker22 Oct 2009 1:58 a.m. PST

I hope I have contacted everyone offline by now who have issues, if you have not had an email can you let me know at sales@figuresincomfort.net Sorry for the delay and although I don't have all the answers yet I am working on them as quickly as possible.

Hello Jules,

I too ordered some Companion Miniatures on 14th Sept from your website. I only read these posts afterwards.
The transaction went through via paypal on that day but your website did not record the transaction.
I e-mailed you regarding this and got two replies on the 6th and 21st October, but by that time I'd opened a resolution case with Paypal. Paypal have since found in my favour but are unable to recover the funds from your account! You said you'd have your account sorted on 21st October.
Can you please refund me the owed money or send me the Companion Miniatures I ordered as soon as possible.
Regards,
Sean in Ireland.

Hello Jules,

Like others, I have created an account here, as you seem very responsive on these forums. I realize other people have been waiting much longer than me for there orders but, as long as your sorting things, I would like to be sorted too!
I have tried contacting you at sales@figuresincomfort.net some weeks ago but have had no response.
My invoice id (same as order id?) is 2042
