Crimson Books is releasing a new Keith Rocco artwork book on American Civil War art. I have been able to examine drafts and find it a fascinating work. The price is amazingly reasonable. Crimson Books is a TMP advertiser. Fred Henders, the owner, also has plans to release two other titles at the same time. |

Keith is a great artist and a really nice guy. I recall doing some civil war reenacting with him in the early 1990s around the chicagoland and michigan area. Sitting around the campfire with Kieth was a real treat. |

Thanks for the heads up. I have 'The Soldiers View' which I really like. I was also fortunate enough to have picked up a signed copy 'On Campaign: The Civil War Art of Keith Rocco', off eBay for a very good price. It had a Buy-It-Now option of $60 USD AUD, so knowing how hard these were to get hold off and the price some people were asking for it, especially in Australia, I didn't think twice! |

Barry the list price for this new book is half of what you say the other one had on ebay. There may be some of the same illustrations in both, I do not know for sure. The ones that I saw along with the narrative sections were very informative. Well worth the money. |

Sorry to revive and old thread but I received my copy of the latest Keith Rocco book, 'The Civil War Art of Keith Rocco', for my birthday and must say that it was "well worth the money". I bought my copy from Kieth Rocco's webstore and the people there were great to deal with. keithrocco.com/artbooks Thanks once again Rudy for the heads up! |
