Those look nice! I really like the QRF ALIENS figs. Lord knows I have enough of them. I have over a 100 ALIENS painted. A few packs of Pred's and a platoon of Colonial infantry with Combat Wombat APC's. I even have their civilians painted (Ripley and Newt).

Jeff sent me an awesome batch of 15mm goodies!!! Including the Preds mentioned above. Thanks for posting the pics, they will prove most helpful in my quest to get them painted.

Hi guys, just seen the mini's your talking about and liked them so much I just ordered a load which I am itching to paint.

Can anyone suggest a rules set suitable for an AVP/Aliens colonial marines type 15mm encounter pls?

FYI; I discovered some 28mm Predator (esk) aliens if anyones interested at; link They are listed as FW25 Hunter aliens & FW32 Hunter aliens with guns

Hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed the 15mm QRF stuff.

Does anyone know where I can get a 15mm APC? I am not keen on the QRF or GZG ones and was hoping for one nearer to the old Leading edge games offering; picture

Hi. The Preds are addressed in the revised rule set of the 2nd link.

Predators

Count each Predator as you would an Alien Warrior. APs: 6; Close Combat: 3; Combi-Weapon Range:12; To Hit: 5 (auto for Eggs or Face-Huggers); Attack Dice: 2.

I use the APC's from Combat Wombat. They are a pretty solid reflection of the one from the movie.

Heavy Assault IFV Wheeled
L70mm W30mm H25mm
AIFV-W $9/$24 for 3

I forgot to mention that I have played these rules several times with indoor and outdoor scenarios. I used my Space Hulk tiles for the indoor ones. The games were great! For ALIENS style games I heartily endorse them.

For future reference if anyone else is trying to track down suitable APC mini's; I have just managed to pick up an Aliens Micromachines APC from ebay. The spec 5.5cm long 2.5cm wide so should sit as well as purpose made 15mm vehicles with the QRF marines. I only wanted the one so was willing to pay the £9.50.
