I have posted a couple of pictures of my first "big base" units for IMPETVS. 15mm figures on 25mm ground scale bases. The pikes are 12cm x 12cm based on 3 units (12x4)formed as a single large unit.

I like the caracoling (sp?) reiters thats really cool. I love that Mikes Model range, I have the same ones.

Great looking bases. I'm doing 10mm on 15mm bases but those 15's on a 25 are simply gorgeous.

Beautiful! I go with 10mm for Impetus, personally. These are almost enough to get me to change my mind.

Thanks for the kind comments guys.
I love these stumpy little guys, I am still trying to find more to add to the collection when I can.
The first of these guys were painted about 20 odd years ago and have been rebased half a dozen times as the battles have grown.
Originally single based for Newbury "Through the Ages" rules now on 50+ figure bases, more figures, bigger battles, quicker and less complex rules. Is that maturing as a wargamer?
