Folks, After buying flight stands and magnets I have been waiting a long time for the remainder of magnets to be mailed. Is anyone else experiencing problems with this company? Order date was 25 June 2009.
Reason for concern is that I have about 10 days left to get ready for a convention.
Best,

I have always had good customer service from Top Gun… I expect you will be hearing from him very soon in reply to this post.

I've been trying to place an order with him since the end of July. After an initial exchange of mails regarding payment methods, no further news or response to mails.
Real shame – they look like great products.

The stands are nice. Anyone know where else to get the magnets?

If they're plain old neodymium magnets, I get mine from K&J Magnetics, and I've always been pleased with their service.

I order from K&J Magnetics and have the package within five (5) business days.

K&J are the best, also look at K&J on Youtube. They destroy fruit with magnets.

Old Warrior,

My apologies for the delay on the magnets. I ordered them, but never received them from my supplier.

I have re-ordered from another supplier, but don't have them in hand yet, and am not sure I will get them in time for your convention.

I have sent you a private message through TMP, and would be happy to provide more Flight Stands, or 1/300th or 1/144th scale aircraft in lieu of the magnets, if you prefer to order direct to meet your deadline.

Colonel Bogey, sorry, but I believe I have responded to all inquiries received about our products. It is possible that I never received your order confirmation, or e-mail message.

I have received a number of inquiries about our products of late, and after providing info and shipping quotes on several of them, I never received replies back from the customers saying they wanted to proceed with the order. Since I don't know your name, I can't verify that.

That happens all the time, in addition to the occasional person who says they want to order items, and then never pays for them. I have several boxes packed and ready to go for items never paid for.

I just don't have the time to chase down orders, so if I don't receive a response I normally assume the person has changed their mind.

I would be happy to assist you further should you still be interested in our products.

Sincerely,

Rob

I have always received outstanding support when dealing with Rob at Topgun Marketing. If something happened you can bet it just inadvertantly "slipped thru the crack".

Chips88, This time things are dfferent. Circumstances change.

Folks, are the K&J magnets as strong as what is offered by TopGun?

Colonel Bogey08 Oct 2009 11:45 p.m. PST

I'm pleased to report that, after his posting above, I did manage to make contact with Rob at Top Gun Marketing again and pick up where we left off in July on my order.
The process did all take somewhat longer than I had hoped (my goodies finally arriving at the end of September), but my order arrived safely and well packaged, was precisely what I had requested and I'm very pleased with the stands – a very neat design and well-executed.
