In the past few weeks I've put up various comparisons of some 15mm Medieval infantry ranges including Essex and Eureka Almughavars. I've just added some photos of Italian buildings. link |

Great buildings and indeed reminiscent of Tuscan. I have a similar project developing, but within the 18th century Austrian empire. An item that may help with blending the two scales together is the use of half demolished city walls (medieval). The smaller scale up the hill and the lower, yet larger scale on the table. It just may simulate a perspective. My town will have an 18th Vauban style wall, the original old town could still have remains of the medieval town. Cheers, Robert 18thcenturysojourn.blogspot.com |

That's a wonderful blog, and many people I know are going to love it. Several people have warned me against Almena books, the ones by J. Lago specifically (poor writing, strong political bias), so watch out! |

Luckily I have so little Spanish that I mostly look at the pretty pictures! I almost bought a book in German today on the Teutonic Order – again just for the pictures. Luckily I had already spent enough at the show to make me see sense. |
