I'm a big "Savage Worlds" fan and picked up a copy of the "Hellfrost" setting book.

Very high production values and a very interesting setting, too. I wish there was a bit more "oomph" in it (like a sample starter adventure)but at 128pp Hardcover it's thick enough to be satisfying.

I like the whole "Creeping Winter" setting where the Sorcerous Ice is creeping down from the North and the races are fighting a losing battle against whatever is behind its inexorable advance.

A few new races (Really Frost based variants of "Normal" Fantasy races).

I like the concept but would have liked something a bit less bog-standard. Maybe one wholly unique race (Stone people? Tree People? Dunno)

I like the "Saxon" kind of feel of the Humans and made a Saxa Archer (Based on Subotai from Conan the Barbarian if you must know) and really like the feel.

I think it will have a nice flavor as a setting and the "Winter of the World" feel of it certainly puts a non-standard spin on the world.

2 Snaps and a circle, friends!

Glad you liked it. I must admit it is a setting I'm not terribly interested in. That said, I picked up the fantasy companion a while back and I really like it. Packed with info.
