Best figure available in 25-32mm scale?

aecurtis Fezian08 Sep 2009 8:45 p.m. PST

1st Corps' "General of the Northern Armies" (after Russell Crowe in "Gladiator") is nice.

I'd go for Julius Caesar in any scale.

I support 1st Corps

Nice figure but looks like he would be more suitable leading the baggage train than the army !

Foundry makes a set of Caesarian Roman generals that are very nice. But my favorite is the Scipio model by Gripping Beast.

I just looked at the 1st Corps Caesar and Pompey models, pretty cool!

Does anyone in the US carry them, or do you have to order from the UK?

Foundry has some mounted emperors in its EIR range (Trajan looks particularly nice) that I use in my Late Roman army.

I've always been a fan of Scipio Africanus in any scale, just my opinion though, not really looking for any trouble, don't really want to debate the merits of Roman A vs Roman B much less C D E etc.

I like the A&A Carthaginian Generals Pack – they make great Republican Roman Generals.
