I see that the thorakitai are available from Gripping Beast now. Very nice. I'm encouraged by the greens of the cavalry models. Looks like there are 4 different horses for something. This is terrific! I'm not really satisfied with only 2 or 3 different horses for a unit anymore.

Kids (and GB "chums"), "thorakite" is not the singular of "thorakites". "Thorakites" is the singular, and "thorakitai" (as correctly used above" is plural.

I'm envisioning "thore-a-kyte" being pronounced around wargames tables in the UK now…

Allen (who knows what chum is, and usually feeds it to the seagulls)

I thot I thaw a Thore-ass-a-kitty.

Hmmm. Does "fed to the seagulls" mean the same as "sleeping with the fishes"?

I like the way they used your thore-ass-a-kitty with a different thore-ee-ass.

That is very good news; I like the cavalry greens, a lot, especially the quilted armour. They look very business-like. And the horses will presumably mix with the Foundry WotGs, giving a happy variety of poses.

So what is that square shield about? Must come from one of those much-sought-after Montverts I don't own.

The question is… will I need to sell a kidney to buy the cavalry?
