Not sure if these were reviewed already, but these are really nice sculpts. The horses in particular look very good. Anyway, here's some pictures of them painted:

BTW, these will be some "proper" Big Men for a Sharp Practice game this week. Regards, Dean

Are these officer figures a seperate set or in a mix w/infantry?

DeanMoto07 Sep 2009 11:25 a.m. PST

Oh, sorry to note that – these are sold separately & are made of metal. The French set also comes with a Pioneer. Regards, Dean

I'll agree that these are superb figures – Paul Hicks sculpts i believe. I'm using the Frenchy with the bicorne as a commander for my Eureka French Revolutionary troops.

Figures by me and Horses are combination of Ebob and conversions and some heads of the horses by myself. Really pleased with the finish Those paint jobs really give an extra something well done Dean.

Paul:

Wow – thanks for your approval. The horses' heads are really nicely done. I compared them to several other horses from other makers and yours looks the most realistic. Most of the others are a bit too wide looking – fine on the gaming table, of course. These horses are reminiscent of larger scales – like 54mm. Thanks for this great Napoleonic range! Regards, Dean

Cheers Dean, I have to credit to that man Ebob he sure sculpts a great horse.

These are very good sculpts. I have painted the GB officers and the detail on them is very good. The horses in particular are some of the best available.

I have the French officers patiently waiting in the lead pile!
