Having finished one building for one friend, I'm building another building for another. Coyote over at the General's Tent wanted a Normandy farmhouse that could do double duty for both his Napoleonics and his WW2 wargaming, so I went to work. You can follow my progress here: strangevistas.wordpress.com There's also LED-lit sci-fi pieces and a couple of painting miniatures there too. |

Looks really neat so far
I am very curious how it is going to turn out, thanks for sharing – I have been thinking about donig a brick building – will you be adding the stucco effect on it?. Have you ever seen these? link I built a bunch of these for our 28mm WWII games, lights in them would be very cool though! Here is a link to one of the games: link More of the buildings in here: link A link to the Gallery section of the page: link I have been thinking about placing the buildings on bases so I can do like mini Dioramas, how do you mount yours? I really love to build terrain, it is passion! Thanks again for the ideas. |

It looks labor intensive, but I look forward to seeing the finished product on of these days. |

"labor intensive" for the man who makes 40+ figure single units for his SYW games
It's going quicker than I thought, mostly because between all the windows and the door, there's less exterior wall space than one might thing. My biggest problem is needing a certain brick, not having it, and then having to wait many hours to get it from a cast of the mold. I realize that I could just use brick-textured plasticard, but I like building things with my hands slowly and painstakingly. |
