Anyone going to this event? It looks like a great concept, especially with Casemate, W. Britain, and Osprey as sponsors.

One of the speakers is a WWII vet.

Sash and Saber will be attending as a vendor. You're right, it does sound like an interesting concept.

I have to move to the Virginia area when I retire. So much cool stuff happens down there.

I have been to Williamsburg before (2 years ago?) and it is a great place. So much to do.

I will not be able to make this event and that stinks.

Wow glad I am a veteran and it is free. $46.00 USD is a bit high. Not sure I can make it but does look like a good one day trip with the boys.

It looks fun. I won't be going due to the aggregate of distance, free time, and cost factors.

James,

It is 5 bucks entry for the base show, Vets and Actives get that for free. The 46 is for a dinner and talk with meet and greet of Shames, which is a separate event that you must pay for. Also, there is a private tour of the museum which is paid for in addition.

Thoroughbred Figures will be there as a vendor.
Come down, or up, for the day. Jamestown and Yorktown both within a ten mile distance.

What is really driving people away from this event in droves is that I will, in fact, be there, and giving a talk. I will also be grabbing any of my books people bring by and scubbling in them so as to drive their value way down.

The show looks like it will be a great time! And it is in Williamsburg – a great town to have such an event in.

(Maybe that's why the Williamsburg Muster is there . . .)

The wife and I were thinking of popping in on Saturday in our finest 1860 style dress! She'll be the one in the hoop skirt, before anyone asks!!!!! Can't pass up an opportunity to don the gray wool and talk history!!!

Yep…the Dulles Wargaming Club will be running some demo games for Michigan Toy Soldiers. I'm looking forward to it.

Wow JGawne, your Book on spearheading D-Day is a classic.

I consideer it in the type five book I have bought in the last 10 years and everyone who is intrested in the US army in Europe and espically D-Day needs to get it.

Thanks for that great work
