Nice job, Jeff. I like the shield a lot and I agree that there's something about tranfers I don't quite like. I'm certainly not critical of their use in any way, but I think a couple extra minutes work on the shield is worth it.

Again, nice job. The bronze stands out nicely as well.

The shield is a piece of art!
I painted a simple lambda on mine.

And I noticed you swapped the sword for a spear.

An atmospheric piece – liked the way he is almost looking like he's prefer to be somewhere else………

The pen idea is a good one. Gorgon do make fine figures – am looking for the later ranges for figures that will do for Pontic troops??
