Will those rubbery shelf liners take paint well?

Very good. There is some amazing talent out there. The rest of us admire your work.

They look very cool!

I like the way Cacadores would dress. I may have to get some Front Rank.

Excellent work; very crisp painting. That's a great unit too. BTW, do you use 1" bases for all your troops? Regards, Dean

Yes; 1" square Litko 3mm thick bases, except for artillery crew and I use 20mm sq. bases for them so that they can crowd around a fieldpiece more closely…

Thanks – just curious – as I intend to use Sharp Practice too & have my figures on 20mm (approx.) washers. Regards, Dean

Nice figures and nice brush work! One suggestion on the photos – try it with flourescent lighting overhead and turn off the camera's flash. I find that digital cameras generally don't need the flash to produce well lighted photos.

Yeah, Im having a terrible time with lighting…i have tried it with just overhead lights and the pics come out too dark…but as noted, w/ the flash, I get too much light and it washes out some of the detail & shading…. I'll continue to work on it…
