What a layout! Well worth a visit it seems.

On a much smaller scale, there is also a good diorama of the 1759 Battle of Bergen at the old Bergen Rathaus- now the city museum- which is also composed of 30mm flats.

It's amazing how good flats can look en masse. I've often wondered what a pain they must have been to set up, though!

There's a lot of good stuff in the museum in Ingolstadt--including an original example of a "cornflower blue" uniform.

What an awe inspiring collection of figures. I wonder how Michael was able to take the pictures? When I was there, a guard or docent was sitting in the room and he wouldn't let us take any pictures. I'm glad that someone else was able to work around this problem.

In 2008, we were able to photograph everything we wanted. There seemed to be no restrictions during our visit.
