Just some photos of a few figures I painted the other day, some smart-aleck remarks, a nice picture of Rupert Everett, and, if you're good, I might show you how to get that nice bluey whiteness in a low-temperature non-bio wash.

Wow – just fantastic stuff there, as always. Great blog too. Dean

Ha! If by "great blog" you mean "blog that hasn't been updated since January" then I agree. Thanks! :)

Now get untangled from that houri and answer the questions the lads have asked you!

January "2009" – still considered current affairs by me grin

Great painting. I've got a horde of the same models, but they don't look half so sharp as yours. I'm thinking of painting a few with henna-dyed or bleached hair, but I'm afraid they'll come out looking like deranged clowns!

Yes, I'm planning to do some Henna'd and bleached ones too, but put it off until a later batch, as like you I fear I will muck it up.

You go first and I'll copy what you do if it works, if not I'll laugh and point, okay?

Good god Mr Plynkes, that's some magnificent brushmanship! Deeply impressed by your labours. Vaguely disappointed though that you didn't call the article 'Gone for a Burton'.

Sure, why not? You'd probably laugh and point anyway! I'll try a couple out over the next week and see what happens, maybe even post 'em on LAF if I don't laugh at the results myself.
