Now that I have a new battery charger for my camera, I can share a photo of my recently completed Wehrmacht light cars. picture The two on the left are 1938 Opel Olympias configured for convoy escort. They have a siren on the front to move slow-moving civilians out of the way and an "Abstand 100m" (Keep back 100 meters) placard mounted on the rear spare. The other two are obviously Volkswagen Kafers (Beetles) which saw service in a variety of theaters as a light transport vehicle. All four models are made by Busch in 1/87 (18.5mm) scale. They were disassembled and repainted from their early-war gray scheme and then reassembled, detailed and weathered. The license plate is a Skytrex 15mm scale decal. Wyatt |

Oh, I have about a dozen of those and about 20 VW Typ 82 Kubels – but I didn't paint those. Wyatt |

These are nicely done, thanks for sharing. In "The Kindly Ones" there are many references to officers riding around in an Opel Admiral |
