Has anyone else read this? I usual don't like historical fiction, but this is top notch. Chronicles several characters in the 20th Mass on the road to, and at, Gettysburg. Heartbreakingly poignant. Highly recommended |

I havent read it but have you red Gettysburg by Gingrich. I think I will have a go at Seen the Glory as well. Thanks for the tip. Although not historical fiction, Landscape Turned Red about Antietam is excellent. Regards Chris |

It has been added to my wish list at my favourite online bookseller. For anyone else interested, full title and author: Seen the Glory: A Novel of the Battle of Gettysburg by Hough, John, Jr. |
