Has anyone else read this? I usual don't like historical fiction, but this is top notch. Chronicles several characters in the 20th Mass on the road to, and at, Gettysburg. Heartbreakingly poignant. Highly recommended

I havent read it but have you red Gettysburg by Gingrich. I think I will have a go at Seen the Glory as well. Thanks for the tip.

Although not historical fiction, Landscape Turned Red about Antietam is excellent.

Regards

Chris

It has been added to my wish list at my favourite online bookseller. For anyone else interested, full title and author:
Seen the Glory: A Novel of the Battle of Gettysburg by Hough, John, Jr.
