Today on my blog I've got some pictures of my recently painted 10mm Confederate mounted cavalry (which I will use as the 4th Tennessee). Check them out and let me know what you think. Thanks for looking. link |

Well, they look good as far as I can tell. Did you ever think about putting a light in front of them? That would really help to see them better. |

yes, a little too dark. shooting mini's can be challenging, especially given depth of field/exposure settings, lighting and final image size. |

They just came out with charging cavalry. Nice work, btw. |

Yeah, I'll probably have to re-shoot these once my usual location is available again. The table I usually game on has much better lighting, and is higher so closer to the lights, but it is currently occupied. I saw that, mandt2. I'm definitely looking forward to painting up a unit of those charging cavalry. The standing still/walking cavalry is kind of dull. |

I've put up some new, hopefully better pictures of the unit. The lighting is definitely better in the new shots. In order to get pictures that show all the detail, I might be better off just photographing one stand at a time, instead of having the entire unit in the same picture. Then I also wouldn't have to shrink the picture as much to make it a reasonable size to put up on the blog. That might help. Maybe in the future I'll at least take a couple of pictures of just a single stand up close, in addition to the pictures of the entire unit. |

Today I've updated my blog with some pictures of a Confederate Cavalry brigade command base. I attempted to paint another white horse, which I find difficult. If anyone has any good advice on painting white horses, leave a comment! I'm sure it would be helpful. link |
