Saw these from another thread but not sure as to the scale of the figures. Would they work with 25/28mm figures?

I can tell you that the Evil Cosmonaut is something like 35mm tall, and that's after removing the plastic base and the little rubber disks on the bottoms of his boots. He towers over my 28mm zombies, even the big ones.

Most of them work just fine if your not too fussy about the size and your using different miniature companies zombies. I use Cold War zombies right next to Griffon Miniatures zombies so for me the Clix zombies fit right in… and the zombie sculpts in the Clix range are better than some of the metal zombies out there too!

Stepman321 Aug 2009 3:15 p.m. PST

Dude, they are Zombies. I don't think that too much real world matters for the most part. We use them mixed with our metals just fine………Hooooowever, when we use survivors we do tend to be a bit more picky. Not to many 7 foot tall people out there.

THey are really cool sculpts and very easy to repaint or even just touch up. They are bigger than alot of zombies but they really add character to a horde.

I have 83 zeds painted so far with a variety of heights and it looks good that way. Very mob like.

vojvoda21 Aug 2009 7:08 p.m. PST

I don't mind bigger as long as they are in resonable size. I would HATE a 54mm Zombie in a 25mm game. Oh and DUDE!

I'm NOT dude!

Voj … I picked up a bunch when they first came out thinking they would augment my other figures. They are bigger, even after base removal and prep. Enough so that I scrapped my project.

Your tastes are your own, however. As Rog just posted, they do make that mob even more diverse.

In some other forum someone said they cut out a few mm from the legs and pinned the figures back on, and shortened the torso a few mm as well. Same for the arms. I recall seeing piccys, and they did look much, much better. But the idea of "cheap and easy" zombies flew out the window with all the cutting and pinning.

However, if YOU think the size difference is not a problem, I will happily part with the ones I have for cheap.

One last thing. If you email me:
Seattlered (at) aol (dot) com

I can send you a few piccys (not mine btw) that show a couple of these figs next to some other figs, and you will see the size difference for yourself.

Steve

Oh … if voj doesn't want my h-clix zombies, anyone else who might be interested email me at the address above.

PM sent Steve.

James, if you dont mind chancing $10 USD you can get a nice handful from Miniature Market or you can buy 1-2 from ebay, the shipping may be cheaper if you buy from the same dealer.
I would recommend the cop and construction worker. cop is $1 USD and construction zed .70 cents on MM. Probably the same on ebay.

I got started on these they were so cheap.

Here are some good shots with other figures, mostly heroic 28mm… from my zombie game at Dexcon.

It worked well for me, and at $60 USD for 193 I was cool with it.

I think they mix well, but as noted there are size difference. I have a "fat lady zombie" that is huge, but she's supposed to be; most that are oversized were meant to be that way rather than scale creep imo. Here are a couple of shots from my blog:

For a cheap source of zombies that are thinner/more realisticaly sized check out Last Night on Earth: you can order them from their website and they are great imo

Slobberblood – what is the source of the guy with the knife held behind his back?

slobberblood22 Aug 2009 4:27 p.m. PST

Redroom, that's also a horriclix fig, modded by me…

Redroom22 Aug 2009 6:17 p.m. PST

Very nice, the carny one right?

manatic23 Aug 2009 2:55 a.m. PST

I reviewed them on my blog, some size comparison pics there too.

Thanks They look good but I am worried they might be too big for me. I did not realize the Hasslefee ones were soooo small!
