The Heartland of HMGS East runs along the I-95 corridor, from Boston to Northern VA. Lots of gaming, lots of gamers. |

In Chicago southside my house almost 10,000 ancients! I am working on Punic Wars and finishing off a few other armies, of course it is IMHO. Also a great group of guys to game with! Mike Adams |

Well considering the number of ancient tournaments at HMGS-East conventions I would say I-95 from lower New York down to the Carolinas. Check out the ANCMED, WAB, and other ancients groups on Yahoo. Ask where guys are from and I think you will see the UK and Eastern USA are the top two areas. The midwest (Central to Northern Illinois) is another hotbed of ancient wargamers. VR James Mattes |

Don't most of the ancient gamers move to warmer climates when they retire? |

We play ancients every month at our meetings at Colorado Military Historians in the Denver, Colorado area. We play FoG and Ancient Warfare. |
