Hey all! I was given a gift of toy soldiers by the father of a student who owns a machining company
and these things are TINY! However, the are TOTALLY detailed
you really have to see them to believe them:) I wonder if the guy has a business opportunity here
? Anyway, come on by and take a look! link |

They look pretty good but I would worry about durability. My 6mm guys take a beating and the Baccus figures look really good and still hold up great! |

Are they plastic or carved from ruby? Wow, those're crazy. Reminds me of Inkbiz's 1/500 naps. |
| Lord Ashram | 20 Aug 2009 8:50 a.m. PST |
They are some sort of plastic
I am not sure if they are durable; I would assume they can't be, but maybe if they were cast with their legs together
? Can I ask; anyone wanna guess on a scale for the smallest? 4mm? |

They are very cute. You should paint them. Very interested to see how they turn out. |

"Very interested to see how they turn out." How much kit are they wearing? I'd be interested to know the detail. Do they have the right number of buttons? I'm always amused at how people are so picky about having the correct uniforms in scales this small. |
| Lord Ashram | 20 Aug 2009 9:19 a.m. PST |
No, they do not have buttons, but they are not bad at all; the smallest ones have backpacks with greatcoats, canteens, cartridge boxes, cross belts
I'll paint them up tonight and post them
I am also curious how they turn out! |

I think they look great. Similar in style to inkbiz. Would also like to get my hands on some. |

Is one of those sizes close to 6mm as we know it? Does he claim they represent a particular nation or are just generic? Either way, there's a lot they could be used for. I could also get interested. |

That table is the bomb for sure. Wheels and everything. Cool! |
| Lord Ashram | 20 Aug 2009 1:55 p.m. PST |
Honestly I am not sure of the sizes
any guesses from the photos? I would guess maybe 6mm, 4mm, and 2mm? I don't know! I'll get those guys painted up and posted:) Glad you liked the table! The wheels are actually VERY functional, both to get idea light for photos, and to move the table out of the way when you need the space. Feel free to look back some, there are some good posts of eye candy if you've never seen the blog before:) |

measure them then paint them :) |

Holy Mackerel! These are amazing. |
| Lord Ashram | 20 Aug 2009 8:12 p.m. PST |
Okay guys, I got some paint on the smallest two sets
it is sort of a messy paint job, but you can get the idea
I'll clean them up and flock them and then put up some new photos but for now, please come on by and take a look! I really think the parent is missing a great business opportunity
compared to some of the other 6mm and 2mm I've seen, these just blow them away. |
| Lord Ashram | 20 Aug 2009 9:21 p.m. PST |
Okay, I put up the final pictures, flocked and rolled greatcoats all finished; comments more than welcome!:D |

Right? They are SOOOO small
I was, however, curious how they would turn out, and all things considered
|

I agree, depending on durability their might be a market. They look better then Irregular 2mm and Brigade Games 2mm infantry. |

Amazing! Some of the castings lost a leg there but I guess that's easily fixed with putty. Thanks for sharing, I spent some time enjoying your pictures.cheers! |
