is a frequent critic of Wargames Factory figures and on the last news item:
TMP link Howard offered to send him some of our new figures to review since he had never actually seen any in the flesh (or plastic for that matter)…but Howard hasn't had a response since making the offer on the 12th of August…so I wanted to call Dormammu's attention to it again. So Dormammu – email Howard and/or post up your name and address and we'll get the latest sample sprues to you to check out! If anyone knows who Dormammu is – please point him this way! Thanks! I'm a much harsher critic of your miniatures…. send me two of everything you have so I can actually see them before I start ranting again. Actually I will probably need at least ten of everything to make sure your quality control is consistent. |

I just wish that the wargames magazines would stop giving away the same Warlord Games, 'running ECW firelock man' as their front cover giveaway. How on earth am I ever going to build up an army for nothing if they keep giving away the same figure??? |

Blimey, good offer. I'm a harsh critic too, of what I've seen online, and what I've seen in the flesh (so to speak – the zombies) and I've not been impressed. However, that is an impressive offer from them. On the plus side, the latest releases do seem to be better, so I hope quality continues to improve, and should they do figures I am after/would use, and the quality is better, I'll put my money where my mouth is and buy some(more – I did buy the zombies,which,despite my gripes about them, if they were cheaper would buy more. 3 or 4 for a pound would do it). |

@ Percy the purple dinosaur : I think you'll find Frothers a lot more critical of all figures, more honest about their good and bad points, and a bit more blunt. I like both sites, but do find here on TMP no matter what is shown (90% of the time I'd say) the response is postitive – bar some obvious examples. Not quite sock puppet but, lets say, easily pleased OR not wanting to offend. :-) |
