Seems like the central section division might screw you a bit. If they attack from the port, then you can't use your starboard side guns, etc. The Iron Fist stat sheet got around this by dividing down the front of the ship, so almost all the guns could fire forwards. I did up my own version the other day. I'd email it to you if I could
I split the ship into 4 roughly equal parts, split front to back, right to left. Each is about equal to your Home One. I figured thta if the viscount-class ships were created to take downa SSD, then they should be able to do so. I havn't tested mine out either.. |

Actually all the center section guns can fire forward and to the rear arc. Only the torps are limited. Also the ship fires by section, so the center of this ship is heavier than the two rear sections on the SSD. Arguably it can put out more hurt faster. Plus the SSD is equally hosed from the side, but more so from the rear. Like I said it has not seen battle yet
Send me what you have love to see it. dervel @chartermi .net |

How do you handle attacks to the central and rear sections of the ship (this includes SSD's like Iron Fist) from the front after the bow section has been destroyed? Do the attacks just by-pass the destroyed section? Or does the ruined bulk of the bow still block attacks to the stern sections? |

Ruined sections do not block fire. Damage passes through unshielded to the next section. |
