I recently visited The Games of War shop and saw the range of 28mm ships they make and I can only describe them as excellent and good value for money.

The Tender – 'Sea Pup' is brilliant for small landings as a ships boat and the small ship – 'Sea Dog' useful for close to shore support. The medium ship – 'Sea Prince' would work well as a light troop carrier. The 'Ocean King' would make a superb focal point for a display game but unfortunately at the moment it is out of production whilst it is being remade in resin.

All of the other ships are in resin with metal and laser cut plywood parts and don't take long to put together with the finished result looking fantastic.

Although the ships were made for Pirate games I can't wait for the 'Ocean King' to come out in resin so it can take pride of place on the table supporting my 18th Century naval landing games or softening up forts.

They also do resin buildings, walls etc and are well worth a look gamesofwar.co.uk
