most of them are about 11-13 inches long…15mm?

I think I have the one with the sail as a display model with red coloring (present from my Daughter). It came from a different company. It is ok for 25mm, but not real useful for gaming since it is not a waterline model.

The last one looks to narrow to be really useful at all.

The Revell plastic kits are still in production, why not buy them?

Here is a review of the Emhar compared to the Revell. There isn't really much comparison as regards gaming use as the two kits are different scales, though it also mentions the Revell 1/50 is more like 1/60.
Revell also have a 1/72 Viking ship but I think that was the one someone I know tried around here and found to be rubbish.
