Howdy all! Just thought I would let folks know that, despite a VERY slow month, I have put up some finished 25mm ACW Federals on my blog. I've also posted some photos of a fantastic present I got from my parents from their time in Paris
Napoleonic fans will definitely get a kick out of it! So please do come on by and check out Lord Ashrams House of War! link |

Ah, interesting! So now I have a date
1812
interesting! I wonder if there is more info that can be tracked down? |

LA, Be careful about trusting the dates on the NYPL, I also think they may be of German manufacture. Regards, |

Hm
the name of the artist on all of them is Lacoste, although there are a few with second names (maybe the color?)
and the dealer at the print place said between 1805-1810, so that sounds about on
Do you know anything else about these guys perchance?:) I'll have to look into this more. |

LA, The text at the bottom of the plates seems to be in German, and French, note the use of tambour instead of trommel for drum? link link Also the flag is correct on your plate, different on the NYPL version above. Maybe of French make but for the German market? Regards, |
