back in the mid 70's there was a toy soldier line that was smaller than the 3 3/4 inch GI JOE's that I think might have been 2 1/2 to 3 inches called "Heroes in Action Rescue Corps". I think there was a Jeep, a tank and a Huey helio for the line. Anyone out there remember these toy soldiers? I have tried to google them and check ebay but have come up empty. Did I remember the name wrong? Hope someone out there remembers what I am talking about.

yep and they also did a S.W.A.T. version too. They came on stands that you could click back and forth and the guys swiveled at the hips firing their weapons. I just remember them being called "Heroes In Action" though. I have lots of them. Wish I still had them too. Oh well.

Oh wow. I totally forgot about these. I think I had one, a guy standing in rubble firing an M60 from the hip. He would swivel back and forth when you thumbed the clicker, and the sound was vaguely like a machine gun. Here's a site:

I never knew they had a sub set. That would have been cool in the pool. I had pretty much everything else. They were cool.
