Front Rank, Perry and Kingmaker (1st Corps) all have figures suitable for the Polish as they were not appreciably different from other European knights by this time. You would need to be selective if looking at a specific time (e.g. Tannenberg/Grunwald, 1410). Molniya have Lithuanians but I have no experience of these (quality does not look comparable to e.g. Perry or Front Rank in photos). The distinctive Lithuanian shields are also difficult to get hold of (I make my own or try Mirliton/Vexillia). Testudo were very good for both Polish and Lithuanians but are no longer available (as far as I am aware).

The Tannenberg Osprey is quite good for painting ideas, otherwise these sites have Polish and Lithuanian banners on them.

Can't comment on the rules I'm afraid.

I've seen the Molniya figures up close and played against the sculptor and the painter. They are really nice figures. I'd be happy to have an army of them.

I think I will give Molniya a try. I donīt like the painted figures on their website, but on other photos the miniatures are looking great. Itīs just the style of painting I think. Itīs sad they donīt have armypacks….

The Old Glory lines for Grunwald (not Tannenburg…the victors get to name the project not the losers)and assoicated lines during the same periods work just fine. They have Lithuanians and other eastern light cavalry.

How do the Molniya figures compare in size to Perry, Gripping Beast, Crusader, and other 28mm lines? I have been tempted to get some of their Cumans, but only if they will mix with what I have already.

Yeah on the Molniya paint jobs I think. I'm pretty sure the figures on the website are the same ones Ken has on the table when he plays, but they look great in person (and in mass), and maybe the photos aren't that flattering. In person his armies are probably the best painted armies I've seen in events I've participated in. So, the figures do paint up nicely!
