Does anyone have a side by side of GW dwarf and West Wind figs?

I've looking to add to my dwarf force that is all GW plastic right now. West Wind appeared to be the best matched style wise, but I have heard the West Wind figs are quite large.

Also does anyone have a recommendation for any other dwarf, specifically cavalry that match well with GW's stuff.

I find West Wind's "Dwarf Wars" line matches well height-wise with Reaper's "Warlord" line. I can't imagine using either line side by side with GW figs.

West Wind are a lot larger than GW but if its just Cavalary your after they will look ok as heavy cavalary…

I saw some in person the other day painted up and beautiful at my FLGS(which is 30 minutes away) and while they are pretty big for dwarves(Would be about 5 foot tall next to a GW human) they are so completely and utterly dwarfy that it didn't bother me one bit.

What about dwarfs with long weapons? The two things that are missing from the GW line are long weapons and cavalry. Anything out there that mixes with the Warhammer dwarfs armed with pikes or halberds?

There is a company out there that does Dwarf pikemen (they are the old Asgard figures), really nice figures. I have 10 myself… Will try and get a picture of the pikemen, West Wind and GW Dwarves together tonight for you.

Viking Forge are the company that do the old asgard figures – very nice they are but not much variation – just 8 figures i thin – all differently equipped.

The crossbow armed dwarf with feather in his flopppy hat is cool and I believe asgard had the first firearm armed dwarf – long before citadel did them, and in my opinion far better.

I used left over tomb kings spears and Empire halberds on the older multipart GW dwarves to get some more variety in our army. I also have Westwind cataphracts and horse archers for cavalry. I don't know how the infantry would match but Westwind cavalry looks decent with GW infantry. Black Tree dwarves are supposed to be a good match for GW and they have some interesting things but I haven't bought any myself yet.
