The Centurions were at it again; another battle in the War of Jumbled Alliances. Check out the AAR on the blog:

Turks, Prussians and Austrians? From the photos, it was obvious you had a great time and you recruited a new member.

Thanks for sharing.

Love the terrain and the battle report. 7 PLayers! Must have been huge amounts of fun.. More battle reports and pics please….

Wow! Great pics and figs, love the terrain as well. Out of curiosity what houses are those? Echo bavoisSYW thoughts, more pics :)

Chortle Fezian09 Aug 2009 3:06 a.m. PST

Are they 10mm figures or 15mm? Great setup.

Chortle: Those are 15mm.

Swampking: About half of the buildings are resin-cast, mostly from Musket Miniatures. The other half are cardstock models, downloaded from the internet.

Swampking and bavoisSYW: There is already one other SYW set among the dozen or so on my Flickr page; just go to "Collections" using the link near the top of the page I linked to above, and look in the "Public and Convention Games" collection. There will be a new set every time we have another game, and the War of Jumbled Alliances is far from over.

Thanks, all, for the kind remarks.

Jeff

Great stuff, I used to own KK rules many years ago and they gave a decent enough game. Would have loved to seen a few closeups on the Turks. Cant wait for the next game.

mghFond,

I added one more pic to the set, per your request.
I also left it quite large; go to the "original" size photo to see the Turks up close and personal.

Cheers,

Jeff

I believe the next SYW/War of Jumbled Alliances scenario is planned for October. Sorry it's not sooner, but the guys are on kind of a Napoleonics kick right now. The Centurions' schedule can is usually posted on the MMGA (Minnesota Miniature Gamers Assoc.) Yahoo group (I know, I know, YAYG; but the archives are public, so you don't have to join to read the messages) or on the Centurions' blog at
