Hi

Does anyone recognise this Tom Meier figure from this description?

Pewter model from 1992 designed by Tom Meier.

Figure stands about 90 to 100mm tall.

There is a large Genie holding a magic carpet above its head on which there is a male and female figure.

The male is standing while the female is lying across the carpet.

I will try and add a link later with an attached pic.

If anyone knows any further info that would be great.

Cheers

It's from Tom's company Thunderbolt Mountain and is one of his diorama sets that are OOP. Unfortunately, they are not listed on his site anymore since they were true 25mm scale.

What do you want to know about it, specifically? I have that one; it's a lovely piece.

You can see it here: link but you'll need to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page.

If you're looking to buy one, then you'd probably do best to keep an eye on Noble Knight Games or eBay.

Thanks for the info.

It's just that I picked up one and was wondering what it was called.

Guess I got lucky with the name.

Cheers

Some stunning dioramas in Neotacha's link. The "Idol Theft" is brilliant – shame I can't get it :(

Truly a wonderful piece.

Best 25mm flying carpet of all time.

I took the figures off, spackled their mounting holes, and painted up the carpet as one from the arabian nights.

A curved wire was added to support the rear edge of the carpet, otherwise it wouldn't survive rough handling.
