Does anyone have any pictures of the game that was put on at historicon a few years ago, I believe it was in the form of a western gunfight on board a large 28mm ship model.
Thanks for your help

I am pretty sure he ran this game at FALL-IN! the first year I did events for that show. I will check my records tonight to see what I can find; assuming someone else does not post a response first…

If I remember correctly, the gentleman's name that built the model and ran the game was Patrick Hreachmack. I know he does some 1/600 modelling work for Bay Area Yards. They may be able to put you in contact with him.

jlstuht is exactly right-it's Pat who brings the 4-foot long multi-deck steamboat "Keystone" to HMGS east cons. Pat built the boat from scratch and we brought it to Historicon twice in the late 90s-I was his assistant then-and he started doing it again when he moved back east a few years ago.

PM me and I'll get you Pat's email address. As for photos; when we were at Historicon in '98 or '99 one of the Brit wargames mags (I think it was WI, but it might have been Miniature Wargames) took an extended series of photos at Historicon (not during the game but in a session afterward under lights, etc) and later published them in one of the issues.

Maybe someone has the relevant issue and can get the photos to you.

Pat's model was a Mississippi Stern Wheel Gambling Boat and he's run that game during several HMGS-E cons.

He does design ships for Bay Area Yards and as jlstuht says, try contacting him through them.

I think it was at H-con this year.

I saw that great ship at a Historicon, quite a few years ago, in the Courier room.

Hello Guys;

Yes the sternwheeler is the Riverboat Keystone, and I built her. She is named "Keystone" after our club location when I was in Indianapolis. Keystone is still always popular and has been at many HistoriCons, Fall-In, Advance the Colors, Cold Wars, Tornado Alley and other conventions. Keystone was just at HistoriCon 2009 (missed you Dennis!!) and will be at Fall-In 2009 and Cold Wars 2010. You can reach me thru the Bay Area Yards web site <www.bayareayards.virtualscratchbuilder.com> or at my email <seapatrick@optonline.net>. Others get the photos as I'm usually too busy running the games and having fun!!

BTW it was Wargames International issue #156 in september of 2000 and the photos were taken by Duncan Mcfarlane, the Editor in Chief.
