A question for you gents from down under :) The headgear that I've seen is a shako/mirliton (green) with no bill. I've also seen a picture of a toy soldier officer of the same unit with a bill ? Can anyone enlighten me as to whether the illustrations are wrong or did the officers have and the enlisted not have bills on their shakos ? Thanks :) Paul |

Thanks Chief Bosun :) Almost looks like the rifleman in the black and white photo is wearing a fur busby/shako ? Looking at the color pic I got off another Australian site, that may be it ? Thanks for your' trouble. Paul |
