We are happily working on some Old Glory 1/600 Pre-Dreads. Check out the Armored Cruiser Admiral Nakhimov, painted by my opponent. bloodychiclitz.blogspot.com On this blog you will also find pictures of my 1/2400 German Battlecruiser fleet. Cheers! |

Very nice. I have about 25 of these OG ships myself. Was wondering what Asama and Nakhimov looked like
Thanks! |

Thanks for sharing. It is a very interesting era. A time at which ships exchanged fire rather than dodged each others carrier borne aircraft. what sort of play area are you gaming in for 1-600th? 6x4? or is this for display? |

We have two 4x8 foot tables, and will use one or two depending on the scenario. Seekreig IV is our rule-set. I am painting the Asama, Fuji, and Suma. My opponent is almost done with the Admiral Nakhimov, Peresvyet, and the Novik. The whole game is sort of a "break" from the more serious 1/2400 WW1 endeavors. Plus I just couldn't resist the OG ships with the 40% OG army discount. @Chortle I agree, my interest in Naval gaming ends with the rise of the aircraft carrier. |
