Just trying to find a supplier of a hex mat (preferably green in colour) with about 40mm / 1 1/2" hexes.
I tried S&A scenics who no longer supply hex mats.

John

Try Hotz, their mats are nice and they do custom mats.

Hotz Mats are the best (I've got two). Shipping can take up to 6 weeks, but it is worth the wait.

Hotz all the way. My order was quick too, hardly any wait.

Schou (sp?) does a good job too, but not sure if he does hexes.

Hotz shipping is highly variable. I'm still waiting for an order placed and paid for on 11th May. In the interim no communication, not even a confirmation that the order was being processed.

Hotz makes a great product, but his delivery is erratic and his communication is lousy.

But I knew all that before I placed the order and still went ahead.

His mats are excellent – but don't hold your breath waiting for them.

Thats almost 4 months you've waited, I think you must have the patience of a saint.
Does he make the mats as a hobby? Or is he a 1 man band?
I should check it out on line, but I was hoping that I could get a game BEFORE the end of the year 8-)

I have 6 of the Hotz mats. Made 2 seperate orders one took only a couple of weeks and the last about a month. Really great mats.

If you are in the UK you could try

I have two of the standard mats but they do hex overlays.

6richard,
I am UK based and have been in the Terrain Mat web site. It is unfortunate that their product, which does looks good, is twice (approximately) the price of the Hotz mat from the USA including delivery.
FULLB35,
The times quoted by you are much nearer the mark. A 4 week delivery time would be O.K.

I think I might just order and take the chance with Hotz.

Thanks for all your comments.

John
