An after-action report of the previous week of my web-based real-time Campaign. We have seven players but only two of us are yet actively engaged. The others are still positioning themselves and trying to reduce fortresses.

Another update to our campaign. Things get tense in the alps and in Italy, first contact is made outside Verona. Austrians go on the offensive in the Rhine, invading Bavaria.

Another week and another engagement. This was a battle in the snow at Innsbruck using Napoleon's Battles. It was a fight that didn't play out to a necessarily satisfactory and fun conclusion but it did give us some interesting moments for the Campaign and it was nice to have a battle with strategic concerns that decided the tabletop play. As the French player said, if it hadn't been a campaign game, he'd have fought to the last man.

The campaign continues, though the Tyrol is now the center of the storm as armies are approaching to clash in both Bavaria and Venice.

This week has seen all the armies holding their breath and moving around without any decisive contacts. Rear areas are being secured and we await the next major bout of aggression.

Charles' treaty proposal was rejected so the war continues.
