My wife has painted some zombie fighting humans, but has never painted a fantasy miniature until tonight. she is improving very quickly.

first, her zombie fighting humans for comparison of how she has improved.

and now her fantasy dwarven warrior(She likes dwarves for some reason, which I approve of, none of that fairy elf crap)

Thanks for looking, would appreciate any feedback, I am really just bragging on my wife mostly, I think she has gotten good very quickly.

Those all look good to me. I like the guy in the long coat. He came out good. Looks like she is off to a good start.

Blimey I can't even get my wife to come within 20 feet of my gaming room let alone paint a figure. I like the dwarf a very neat paint job. So is the basic plan to get her up professional painting service quaility and then get her to start on your unpainted figure backlog :)

Haha, yeah, I think I am going to get her to paint all my zombies for me. :)

Nice. For some reason, for me, dwarves are HARDER to paint than elves… but she seems to have quite a grip on it.

Wow for a second mini that is amazing! Mine were so bad that I repainted it at a later date

This is a terrific thread. My wife just finished her first figure (a female holding a handgun from the mid '90's warzone line). She'll be happy to know that she's "Keeping up with the Ogre Family next door". ;)

She agonized and poked and prodded and fussed… but in the end, I'd say she did really well. I was pretty impressed with the finished product by a first timer.

Cheers to you for converting your Mrs. from "She who makes you clean up your minis", to "She who helps you make the painting mess"!

Her work is excellent, Ogre! I like the way she enhanced the base for her dwarf.

Keep up the GREAT work, Mrs. Ogre (sorry, don't know your name, ma'am)! thumbs up
