Outside of TMP what are the hot sites you visit for hobby (Historical Miniatures) news and networking about the hobby? I have seen Frothers listed before along with Table Top Gaming News and of course the yahoo groups. What are some of your favorite sites to keep up with the hobby? I am primarily intersted in only the Historical Miniatures side of the hobby but I understand if guys post about other alternative gaming venues. VR James Mattes |

There's some hobby news on my site ( miniaturewargaming.com ) at the top of the second column on the front page. It's self-serve. All manufacturers and retailers are invited to add their two cents as the mood strikes. All they have to do is join the forums and post their notices in the appropriate place, which is here: link The notices appear as soon as they are posted; it's all handled automatically. News posters can upload photos, add polls, etc. You'll also be automatically notified if someone leaves a comment or question. |

WD3 – link IMO, the best about WD3 is the full use many members make of the possibilities of a php forum, mainly posting articles and pictures, usully in installments as the project progresses, and reacting on the reactions of the other members. There are some truely gifted members who can tell just about everything about figure painting, sculpting and modification, and some of the scenery is mindboggling. Most things are explained in detail and shown step by step. Then there is a healthy dose of insanity and nonsense to remind us all it's only a hobby, without that it wouldn't be WD3. |
