In my hour of need, I come now before you -- the most overqualified miniatures people on the net.

Long story short: While antiquing with the wife, I was amazed to find some old Grenadier miniatures for sale at an antique mall for a couple bucks each. Naturally, I snatched 'm up.

Two in particular, I need some help with. They are a (D&D style) troll and a Shambling Mound, direct from the first edition Monster Manual. I know these minis were in one of the D&D boxed sets from Grenadier… because I had them, when I was, I dunno, twelve.

Can anyone tell me which set or sets these minis came from? Perhaps some box art, year of production? For archival purposes?

Were they from 2010 Denizens of the Swamp perchance? link

Great link, ZZ.

I love those old Grenadier minis. My first foray into the gaming world.

Glad I could help, I still pick them up and paint/play with them in games.

Mighod. They have a WIKI for this, now?

Yes, that's them. Thanks for the link. I also got the bard from the Specialists pack… another blast from the past.

Great link and great find! Years ago, I found that "Specialists" box at a flea market for $1 USD – and I still have them somewhere.

Well, let's just say these days I'm a tad more enthusiastic about antiquing with the wife…

I concur! I can never find anything even half that cool.

Good find. Still have some of those around.
