Can anyone point me to people who sell 1/3000 WW2 ships in the UK or the EU?

I know there are a few good suppliers elsewhere in the world, but the Post Office charges £8.00 GBP to collect customs duties. This is usually 2 or 3 times more than the customs charge itself, and as I refuse to pay this unfair extra tax I sadly now only buy from sellers within the EU.

Thanks in advance.

I think Navwar do them

SKYTREX, NAVWAR. Both are UK companies.

Navwar are old fashioned, you have to send a cheque, or CC details via post or telephone, but there service is very quick and good

Navwar have great service and I've dealt with them for years.

I see you're in Scotland so a trip to their store isn't going to work. They only open Saturday mornings now.

There is also MY Miniatures in the UK and carries 1/3000 WWI and WWII ships. Older models but pretty good price for them. Robert

Wow, I've never heard of M.Y. Miniatures before, they have some interesting stuff.

Thanks, everyone.

My pleasure. The molds that Mick has are from the old Trafalgar line from the 70s-80s. They are not as detailed as the other lines but he has been slowly updating the molds. And there quite a few types that no other company carries. And they are a good price :). Robert

Mick at M.Y. is great.I had managed to pick up some 1/3000
ships as well as 1/300 armor/aircraft in the mid 80s,just
before Trafalgar disappeared. It was good news when Mick picked up the ship molds. He is releasing some cool hybrid
CV/BBs,CV/CAs,and some other projected types.Looking forward
to some new stuff soon.
If you are into moderns, give Ian at Denian a try.I am trying to wait patiently on his summer releases which include the Franco/Italian Horizons,Jap.Atago's,Indian
Delhi's and USN's Freedom LCS.They are the nicest 1/3000
made.
Most of my stuff is Navwar and I'm very pleased with the
minis/service.

David

PS-Denian's Daring and Lanzhou are beauties!
