I found a very useful site that lists current news articles relating to WWII history items. When I tried to email the URL to a friend, Verizon.net rejected my outgoing email as being Spam.

Here's the particular page; it seems that the string "cloudworth.com" is what their spam filter is keying on.

More likely an email with just a URL

I have Verizon. Use TinyURL to convert the address. I've already converted it once, to:

tinyurl.com/lsucgq

It will go then, even with just the converted URL in the message body and no message title.

Spam filters are the most flawed technology on the web.
Verizon claims to be cutting edge but are falling to the same problems aol had years ago. Maybe its something that cannot be solved.

I'd be leery of anything titled "Hitler news". Anyone with should.

This from the main page of the website. So I dunno what to think of it.

Welcome to World War II News!

This website provides a daily edited review of World War II news. Each article is hand-picked, with the intention that the selected source is either reliable, unique, has many WWII photos, or gives us the best insight or coverage on a particular topic.

You can see the Latest World War II News here (entries 1-10), or if you haven't visited in a couple of days, check out also the recent news page (entries 11-20). For older news and monthly 'most read' lists go to Archive Index. Each entry is placed in one or more categories, such as Waffen SS, Battle tanks, Nazi Memorabilia & German Militaria, WW2 & Nazi Uniforms, WWII Jeeps, Historical Tours or SS & Nazi Daggers.

A complete list of categories can be found here. If you would like to stay up-to-date, subscribe to the email alert.

This information service is a labour of love, maintained by (not so surprisingly) a history buff. I have always been interested in military history, and particularly so World War II, and wanted to be able to see all the latest WWII-related news at one glance without wasting hours browsing around or reading miserable auto-generated news alerts.

I try to bring out different sides and views, like for example showing both dreadful and humorous aspects of the war, or using both left and right wing sources. All within reason, of course. It is easy to see that there are four topics that dominate this particular battlefield: World War II, Nazi Germany, Adolf Hitler and German militaria -- hence in fact the url and the website title "Hitler's Third Reich and World War II in the News". Some topics are on the other hand very infrequently visited, simply because there just isn't that much media coverage on them -- for example, WWII campaigns in China do not get all that much attention in the English speaking world.

Since the World War II database here currently has tens of thousands of news reviews, it is inevitable -- but unfortunate -- that some of the older links are no longer working, no matter how often the database is manually purged by fixing, removing or disabling dead links. In fact, as many online newspapers only allow free access to their articles for a week or two, in order to avoid disappointments it is essential to visit us often to get the 'history' while it is still available.

Although the articles linked from Adolf Hitler's Third Reich 1933-1945 and World War II in the News are reviewed and specially selected, they do not necessarily represent the views of the editor, who is not responsible for the content of any external sites.
