The streets in this part of the city are littered with trash. Rats the size of small dogs brazenly plunder the refuse. This is the foreign quarter. This is where foreign travelers and workers are forced to live. Only the richest of foreign merchants can pay the bribes necessary to stay in the better parts of the city.

Even the vaunted Ibyssian Lion Guard are forced to find lodging here. And as is often the case, fights between those who live outside authority and those who represent it, occur without warning.

I've done a little more work to the city for my Broadsword Adventures game and added some details to make it less "clean" and more like a slum. Still a lot more work to do. And I'll also be using it for a .45 Adventure game in two weeks.

very cool as usual….

Although for a slum, the streets are quite clean….

Awesome look to the game. would love to see The sorcerer's tower!
Maybe if you spilled a little brown and or yellow ink on the cobblestone that may help look durty.

Hey even slums have some civic pride. They have the most hardened criminals dragged through the streets every morning to help keep them clean. :-)

Nice set up! I like the crowded street and alley effect of placing everything close together.

Maybe, they are SO poor they can't even afford the filth to make the streets dirty!

Very Thieves' World. I like it!

"Hey, Pal, I've been chased by angry mobs out of better towns than this."

By Crom, Rich, very nice job, indeed!
