I realize that the ODGW site is borderline legendarily finicky but up until today, I haven't had any major problems but I've tried 3 PC's with IE8, IE7 and Safari and nothing, bupkas, zip, zero.

Is anyone having a positive result at? odgw.com

I'm actually trying to spend money on their GQ3 product to no avail.

I'm having luck by using the IP numerical address:

72.167.173.126

using Firefox. Not sure I'd want to try to order from that addr though.

The new GQ3/FAI supplement sounds great, eh?

Thanks ElGrego but no joy there either. I really want that supplement for my already painted US, French, Greek and Turk fleets.

I'm stumped as to why or what the problem could be. I've got comcast cable as my ISP so I doubt that's an issue and I've had zero problems with any other site.

odgw.com working fine for me. Using Firefox.

abelp0125 Jul 2009 3:47 p.m. PST

Works on IE8.

I still keep getting an 'IE cannot open webpage' message. I appreciate the help and may just load Firefox out of frustration.

Well Firefox didn't work either but my laptop with a Verizon air card did. It must be my router or ISP but since that is the total extent of my computer knowledge, I may just hit things with objects since I'm a believer in percussive repair.

ODGW is working on a permanent fix for the access problem and (hopefully) will have a new site up within the next few months. The problem has defied any bandaid fix and doesn't seem to have any pattern (which makes no sense, but sometimes that's what you get with computers…). In the meantime, they have a work around for anyone wanting to purchase; as soon as I get the details, I'll post it here.

BTW, Bob, percussive repair, while not necessarily the correct method of problem resolution, is, nevertheless, widely accepted among the IT community in extreme cases (hey, at less it makes us feel better!).

Ok, here's the work around for those having access trouble:
